WWE RAW I'm torn. There's a part of me that feels like Vince McMahon's one million dollar giveaway is a cheap ploy to gain viewership for RAW. Then there's another part of me that doesn't think a million dollars qualifies as "cheap" at all. Actually, It's a lot of freakin' money. It's like...3/4 of a house out here in LA. So yes, that first part of me thinks that if Vince really wants to show us fans some appreciation, he'd simply improve the matches. The stakes. The appeal. Give us an improved product. But then that part, again, is beaten down into submission by the second part of me that wants wheelbarrow full of cash, crack and whiskey.
When's the last time a match on RAW meant something in the long run? When's the last time someone new cracked into the World or WWE title picture? Who cares! I want to be able to fill my gas tank at $4.20 a gallon! A million dollars just might help me. I think of this as Vince's "stimulus" program. Although a google search of that phrase reveals something else entirely. Something very wrong.
